Shining a light on our volunteers
National Volunteer Week offers us an opportunity to shine a special light on the selfless service of our volunteers. We are filled with immense gratitude for our remarkable volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to Lake Taupō Hospice. Our volunteers compassion and commitment make an immeasurable difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Whether they are assisting with equipment deliveries, baking, crocheting blankets, working in our retail shops or helping provide respite and fun at our patient groups, our volunteers enhance the quality of care we give and enrich the Hospice experience for everyone.
To our volunteers – thank you, thank you, thank you. You are our backbone. Every hour you give, each smile you share, each gentle touch you offer does not go unnoticed. These contributions make a difference and we celebrate you.
In the spirit of National Volunteer Week, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the powerful role volunteers play in our community.
Volunteering with Hospice is more than a service, it is a calling that brings joy and connection.
