Lake Taupō Hospice is a well-loved charity which provides specialist and wrap around community based palliative care to patients and their families.

Lake Taupō Hospice believe that every living moment counts.

We all know

  • the benefits of spending time outdoor and physical activity

  • that employees love some fun competitive stuff

Companies in the Taupō region, have the opportunity to participate in an inter-organisation challenge - WHO’S GOT THE POWER?

It’s simple. We like simple.

There are two sought after trophies up for grabs!

Trophy #1 CUMULATIVE POWER – for the team that collectively does the most distance (running or walking – all events can be run or walked) on event day. For example, 10 people do the 42km marathon, 15 do the 21km half marathon, and 22 people do the 10km – total = 955km

Trophy #2 GENERATED POWER – for the team that raises the most funds for Hospice. Each team will get a link to promote themselves and generate fundraising for Lake Taupō Hospice.

  1. Sign up interested staff to enter the Taupō Marathon

  2. Help them get fundraising through our peer-to-peer platform

  3. Give them the chance to train as a team and keep them motivated

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
